Hunger Must Die

Every 10 seconds a child dies of hunger on the globe. India reported the most number of deaths of children below five years in 2018, with 8,82,000 deaths, UNICEF said in a report, followed by 2019 with the increased number of deaths and in 2020, the forceful and unplanned lockdown will bring more deaths due to hunger.

It is the most heinous face of society. It shows the brutal nature of the human being. We are not concerned with the fact that somebody is dying every second, and we do extravagance of throwing away the left out food. “You will say that it is the responsibility of government” Well … we appoint the government to look after the operations of the country but instead, they rule the country by suppressing the main motive of managing and executing the functions of the country’s work affairs. They enjoy politics & power and forget that they were appointed to serve the country and not to rule. The money on which the government runs is the money collected by the taxes. India collects 28%.5 GST, 28% Corporate Tax, 26.3% Income tax, 11% Excise, 5.7% Customs … it means that it is 100% public money and apart from that WHO gives a huge amount to India for feeding hungry and take care of needy but even then 8,82,000 children below 5 years died of hunger in India in 2018 and then Indian government stopped displaying the figures. Despite the fact that such a vast money collection government fails to save lives. You will be astounded to know that every day, 7000 Indians die of hunger in India. It shows a complete failure of the system.

Now I stop cursing the system and corruption! Let me ask you, my countrymen, “do you care about these hungry people?; do you ever ask the government that why 7000 people die every day just because of hunger?”… I don’t think so that even 1% of Indians are concerned, worried, or even think & talk about it. We have stopped questioning, and therefore all the money is swallowed by the corrupt web of the system.

Announcing donation is another current fashion of the tycoons & corporate under CSR to get considerable attention and limelight in media. The question is that how does that money is utilized? 60% donated money manipulated. Secondly, the corporate donate their announced donation in their own NGOs, which is run by their family members. Do you ever question?
Let’s start asking questions, use the power of social media, and ask them questions. We should tag them, tweet them, mail them, or talk, speak up my countrymen! Save people from dying of hunger. On a personal level, search the people around you who are poor, feed them, love them. Hunger must die.

Let’s become humans!

Regards & Love to all the good Indians
